Leading law firm DWF have contracted to implement Linetime’s Liberate software to support the newly formed motor asset finance team. The 20 strong team operate from DWF’s Spinningfields office in Manchester and will complement the current motor asset finance team based in the Birmingham office.
The new Manchester team, led by Partner John Perez and Director Julia Williams, has been created following a lateral hire from Cheshire based firm Chafes Solicitors. The team will form part of the National Litigation practice group and will have the ability to share matters across multiple office locations.
Richard Wilson, Application Development Manager at DWF says, “Due to the volume of matters the team turnover it was immediately obvious that they would benefit greatly from Liberate’s capabilities such as matter upload, bulk printing, automated instalment monitoring, automated interest calculation and the ability to filter and run volume workboxes”.
Julia Williams says, "We are very excited about the introduction of the Liberate system which shall be hugely beneficial to our team and our clients. Increased automation shall speed up and improve efficiency and productivity and shall provide our clients with real time access to their cases. The project will see the use of Liberate to support the email and document handling for the motor asset finance team along with managing the case load via the systems workflow system. Clients will benefit from having access to view progress on their cases and to collaborate with the fee earners via the online case portal. As part of the project, data will be migrated from the existing TFB Partner system.
