Existing 3E Client Decides to Implement MatterSphere and Engage for a Truly Integrated Front Office Platform

Thomson Reuters Elite, part of the Legal business of Thomson Reuters, today announced that award winning and leading UK full-service firm Boyes Turner LLP has made the decision to implement Client & Matter Management as part of Elite’s enterprise business management solution (EBMS).

An existing 3E client, Boyes Turner chose to integrate both matter management and legal practice management with MatterSphere and Engage, respectively. Although the firm’s decision to implement new solutions was prompted by a need to automate document assembly and associated time capture, its decision makers selected Client & Matter Management to meet other requirements.

By integrating with the firm’s existing document management system (DMS), MatterSphere assists with document assembly, presenting additional matter information alongside DMS content. MatterSphere also streamlines processes for the opening and closing of clients and their matters. With Engage, the firm is able to improve risk assessment and ID rchecking to increase overall compliance with specific aims to comply with the recently introduced Jackson eforms in the UK. As matters are planned, the solution pulls actual data from the firm’s time and billing system to more accurately forecast cost budgeting to its clients. Additionally, firm-wide reporting through Engage can be produced across all staff, as well as the firm’s centralized management of tasks.
