Another good month for Tikit

Top 100 UK firm, Brabners, have signed with Tikit for HP WorkSite as a replacement to their Axiaa Document Management System and existing Carpe Diem client Rosenblatt are the latest firm to ask Tikit to provide Carpe Diem Mobile to all of their fee earners, enabling them to capture time when they are out of the office, on their mobile devices. 

More mid-tier law firms have engaged Tikit to install their practice and case management software, P4W, including:

• Beswicks; the Staffordshire based firm has purchased a full range of P4W and complementary applications to underpin their goal of increased efficiency and competitiveness. The Tikit solution covers the PMS, CMS, CRM, Client Portal, and BigHand integration elements whilst the ever-popular TaskCentre will be employed to automate the firm’s risk and compliance management processes. The project is expected to be live in October.
• Goodman Ray; a specialist family law practice in London, is deploying Partner for Windows practice and case management to assist with their significant workload; much of which is publicly-funded. Goodman Ray are the latest in a number of similar firms to have adopted Partner for Windows in recent years. These include TV Edwards, David Gray, and Edwards Duthie; all of whom have significant legal aid practices.

The Tikit P4W User Group regional meetings have been held across the country during May and June, culminating with the London event held at the BT Tower. Over 200 attendees across the four events were informed about key product developments that will give mid-market Tikit clients access to world class applications. Plans are already underway for the National User Group conference being held in London on 20th and 21st November 2014.

More and more legal firms are seeing the benefits of the extended portfolio the BT acquisition has brought to Tikit.

For example Holman Fenwick Willan LLP has asked Tikit to upgrade their Global WAN to increase bandwidth and so provide even greater speed and reliability. This contract also includes proactive management and monitoring to ensure lawyers always receive their data when needed.

In addition to this Murgitroyd has engaged Tikit to implement a Network Management solution for their BT WAN to enable detailed statistics of WAN performance to the user application level. 

The general upturn in legal sector confidence is repeated in North America. Lenczner Slaght has selected both Carpe Diem Enterprise and Carpe Diem Mobile to address their timekeeping needs. McMillan has increased their licensing of Carpe Diem Enterprise to align with the firm’s recent growth.
