The International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) has published the programme for its 2014 ILTA conference for the UK and Europe. The INSIGHT event takes place on Thursday November 13th at a brand new venue, 155 Bishopsgate, but still with the proven multi-track format of previous years.
The day will kick off with the traditional keynote address, this year given by Elliott Ichimura, Global Services Director at Microsoft Dynamics. He will be teeing up the rest of the day’s agenda with an hour-long look at ‘Embracing disruption at the intersection of business and IT strategy’.
For the first time the educational programme will offer sixteen sessions across four streams, with the ILTA hallmark of all content being peer-powered: sessions are designed and delivered from the ground-up by colleagues within the legal IT community. This year the tracks will cover strategy, technical, litigation support, and knowledge management.
Topics include Legal Project Management as a Competitive Tool (technical); Unleashing IT to Disrupt, Define and Differentiate Future Strategies (strategy); KM for Business Strategy (knowledge management); and the intriguing The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (litigation support).
Last year’s INSIGHT was deemed the best ever in terms of both numbers and feedback and ILTA is looking to go one better in its ninth outing this year. It is keen to welcome as broad a participation as possible from the top 200 law firms, and is already projecting an attendance of 300+ delegates.
