Advanced Legal continues to invest in practice management solution with ALB 2.2

Advanced Legal has today announced the latest version of its market leading Practice Management Software - ALB. The latest version offers a range of new features to help firms integrate ALB seamlessly into their daily working practices. ALB’s new functionality includes complete Time Tracker (powered by Rekoop) integration, Word ‘click and file’ capability and an enhanced Client and Matter inception case app.

Time Tracker enables clients to accurately capture time wherever they are, from a mobile or desktop device, making it easier than ever before to capture time, increase the number billable hours accounted for, and keep track of activities. The seamless integration with ALB ensures any time captured is inputted directly into fee earners’ timesheets ensuring updates are fast and simple to complete.

The new ‘click and file’ functionality allows documents created in Microsoft Word to be saved directly to ALB. Documents, and their associated time, can be saved directly to a matter, streamlining processes and making filing simpler and more intuitive.

Finally ALB 2.2 includes enhancements to the Client and Matter case app that now allows multiple clients to be created on one matter as part of a single automated process. The Client and Matter inception case app is designed to streamline the on-boarding of clients process and allows the firm to operate processes against a contact while evaluating risk before creating a client.

Initial details, checks and communications can be stored from the first contact, reducing duplication of data entry, improving compliance and ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the process thus increasing firms’ efficiency.
