With the growing popularity of MatterSphere® from Thomson Reuters Elite, a UK MatterSphere User Group has launched. The independent group is endorsed by Thomson Reuters Elite and already includes in its management team senior IT figures from Slater & Gordon, Weightmans, Foot Anstey, Mills & Reeve, Thompsons Law, Kingsley Napley, and MW Solicitors.
The chair of the user group, Stuart Whittle, said that ʼGiven the importance of MatterSphere to a growing number of law firms and in-house counsel, it is important that there is a UK voice to influence the direction of the product both from a user and developer perspectiveʻ.
Patrick Hurley, Vice President Customer Advocacy at Thomson Reuters Elite, added ʼWe fully endorse the UK MatterSphere User Group. We expect they will provide feedback and advice that will help us achieve an even more powerful solution to meet the efficiency challenges that modern law firms face in an increasingly competitive market. UK MatterSphere User Group secretary Duncan Eadie, stated ʼIt's great to see an idea formed at VANTAGE New York lead to today's launch. We aim to have every law firm that uses MatterSphere in the UK join the group and through collective momentum have its voice heard and its needs representedʼ.
The group will focus on different areas, including roadmap, account management, development environment & tools, bugs & issues and partner priorities – appealing to both strategists as well as in-house developers.
