Tikit, part of the BT Group and leading provider of technology solutions for law and professional services firms, has today announced a strategic partnership with DocSolid, a pioneer in Paper2Digital™ technology.
Tikit will be launching KwikTag Legal, DocSolid’s patented technology at the upcoming iManage ConnectLive Event on May 18 – 19.
The unique KwikTag Legal scan capture solution reduces costs and sparks productivity in law and professional services firms by removing paper filing, retrieval, processing and storage burdens. It integrates images with document management, records management, and business software.
Speaking on the new partnership, Tikit COO, Simon Hill said ‘When we saw DocSolid’s KwikTag Legal system, we knew it was a game changer. The solution is presently taking the US market by storm, driving significant improvements in efficiency and productivity as well as mitigating risk and aiding governance processes in some of the United States’ most notable firms. DocSolid studies show that 84% of law and professional services firms say they rely on paper to some extent to create, manage and store their official client matter/engagement file. This compromises efficiency, information governance and security. The related costs in commercial area space and labour are also enormous. In an age of increasing governance and a need for firms to be more efficient and transparent, becoming paperless will be a key differentiator.
