David Thorpe joins slicedbread as sharedo Business Development Director

sharedo’s rapid growth as the leading and most innovative case and matter management platform is continuing with the appointment of David Thorpe as Business Development Director.

With over 35 years’ experience in legal software business development roles, David joins Sliced Bread with an unrivalled background. Most recently he was Sales Director of Peppermint Technology playing an important role in bringing their legal service platform into the market. David was the first UK employee of Elite Data Systems (now Thomson Reuters Elite) and went on to become EMEA General Manager. He was also EMEA General Manager at Aderant and has had the pleasure of working closely with most of the top UK law firms, along with many in Continental Europe.

Based in London, David is responsible for all global business development activities which includes delivery of sharedo’s sales, commercial and customer strategy. He becomes a key member of slicedbread’s team, and provides strong commercial and sales leadership to sharedo’s business development team, thus ensuring the delivery of near-term product needs as well as the longer term business strategies.

David commented, “As technology continues to evolve, law firms have a great opportunity to use this as an advantage in an increasingly competitive market. Clients want great service but for lower fees. Law firms want to accommodate client requirements whilst maintaining profits. Technology can bridge these two seemingly conflicting objectives.
