Thomson Reuters Elite, part of Thomson Reuters Legal, today announced that leading regional law firm, Barlow Robbins, has selected multiple elements of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, a comprehensive suite designed to help clients manage every aspect of their business.
The firm chose 3E®, the leading next-generation end-to-end financial management solution, Workspace, a single interface for users to perform important daily tasks on any device anywhere and MatterSphere®, the matter and case component of the Elite Client & Matter Management offering. Barlow Robbins also chose Business Development Premier, the leading end-to-end solution for every stage in the marketing life cycle, and xcelerate Budgeting and Forecasting, the only Microsoft® Excel® and Web-based budgeting and forecasting application built specifically for legal and professional services, with certified standard integration into 3E.
Headquartered in Guildford, United Kingdom and operating from three offices across Surrey, Barlow Robbins selected the suite of Elite products after a competitive review process. Replacing two existing legacy systems with the Elite suite of products, Barlow Robbins chose 3E due to its status as an established provider and its longevity in the market, underlined by the strong product offering and the ability of the Elite team to deliver an end-to-end solution tailored to its requirements.
3E is designed to meet the specific needs of the firm, and its easy-to-use software is perfectly suited for their lawyers and support staff. In addition to 3E, Workspace will help to increase firm mobility, allowing fee earners to capture time, as well as view fee earner statistics and review client and matter related information on the go from their mobile devices.
Barlow Robbins will also be using the proven integration of xcelerate Budgeting and Forecasting with 3E to further enhance its financial management using multi-dimensional database technology to gain advanced analytical features and highly formatted financial statements.
As part of the deal, Barlow Robbins also selected Cosine Matter Planning. Fully integrated into 3E, this New Zealand-based provider of software solutions for the legal industry will increase the services capabilities of Elite and provide expertise to help Barlow Robbins maximize the capabilities of its 3E platform, driving more accurate resourcing, pricing and profitability of matters.
Furthermore, MatterSphere will transform the firm’s matter and case management operations, also using its document automation features within its workflows, and enhancing its new business intake with from end-to-end with a single unified way to view and manage its daily activities across each of its locations. The MatterSphere client portal will also give Barlow Robbins’ clients real-time, 24/7, visibility and access to all information related to their case. This drastically increases transparency within the firm and will help the firm to build on and enhance its client relationships.
Finally, Barlow Robbins also selected Business Development Premier to provide it with deeper insights into their clients, helping the firm unearth opportunities and deliver real-time insights to develop and win new business.
