UK Ministry of Justice Selects DTI for Transcription Services

DTI logoDTI, a global legal process outsourcing (LPO) company providing eDisclosure, managed services, litigation support, and court reporting, announced today that it has been awarded multiple contracts for the provision of transcription services by the Ministry of Justice.

DTI has been engaged to provide:

  • Off-site transcription services for the Crown Courts in the Midlands region – a region that generates a high volume of transcription orders
  • Off-site transcription services for any proceedings other than those in the Crown Courts in England and Wales'
  • Attendance-based transcription services, providing loggers and stenographers to attend hearings in the Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal
  • Real-time transcription services for cases primarily sitting in the Crown Courts and for which the services are procured by the Ministry of Justice or the executive agencies of the Ministry of Justice

Provision of these services will begin at the end of June with the contracts each running for up to four years.
