@Legal Discovery, LLC, a full service eDiscovery technology provider, announced today it has added near-similarity identification to CasePoint, its unified eDiscovery platform. Near-similarity identification allows users to highlight a snippet of text, such as a sentence or a paragraph, in a document and find more documents in the corpus that contain text similar to the highlighted snippet.
“As we continuously look for ways to make the document review process more efficient, near-similarity document identification allows reviewers to focus on a particular concept or section of content instead of the entire text of a document,” said Haresh Bhungalia, CEO of @Legal Discovery, LLC. “By using this new feature, reviewers face much less risk in missing important documents than using the broader near-duplicate identification.”
Documents grouped by near-similarity allow reviewers to make decisions on documents more quickly than traditional methods, since documents of a similar nature can be considered as a group, rather than individually. @Legal CasePoint allows users to leverage various power features like near-similarity, technology-assisted review, word cloud, and term analyzer, to review documents in a shorter period of time.
@Legal offers CasePoint on a fixed, per-GB pricing model that includes all the features of the end-to-end platform, such as culling, filtering, processing, hosting, review, and production. The new feature is included in the all-inclusive price and is available to all users.
