Catalyst Adopts Perceptive Document Filters to Achieve Powerful, Simplified E-Discovery

Lexmark’s Perceptive Software announces that Catalyst—a provider of secure, cloud-based software addressing the e-discovery, compliance and regulatory needs of Global 2000 corporations and their legal counsel—has licensed Perceptive Document Filters as a key component of its Catalyst Insight platform. 

Catalyst Insight empowers users to organize, cull and produce documents quickly, regardless of format, language and programs of origin. Implementations may involve millions of unique documents, and Perceptive Document Filters was selected due in part to its ability to make this content searchable for immediate recall and review.

Catalyst cited speed and implementation time as being key metrics relating to the company’s long-term business growth. The Insight platform extracts text and meta-data, and makes documents ready for searching and review, in addition to creating web-friendly versions of common business files; Document Filters speeds and streamlines this process for customers.
