Traveling Coaches, the legal industry’s experts at gaining user adoption of technology, today announced that Columbia-based McNair Law Firm, PA selected Traveling Coaches’ OnGuard Security Awareness program to create lasting behavior change in how people use technology.
Launched in January of 2013, the OnGuard Security Awareness Program has gained rapid adoption by law firms looking to create a culture of security.
“With end users increasingly becoming the targets of breach attempts, we at McNair Law Firm knew we couldn’t throw technical solutions at this problem. We realized we had to raise user awareness through training and education. We wanted a comprehensive security awareness program and reviewed several before deciding OnGuard was the right fit. We liked the fact that OnGuard is designed for law firms and felt like our users would more easily identify with the content. We needed a program that is sustainable and didn’t feel like we had the internal resources to be successful in that regard. We have worked with Traveling Coaches since 2008 when we implemented CLASSe which has been a very successful program for us. So we were not surprised that OnGuard kept appearing at the top of the list for the various evaluation criteria we used in choosing our security awareness program,” said Mike Kirton, Director of Technology for McNair Law Firm.
OnGuard, designed by and for law firms, leverages Traveling Coaches’ expertise in law firm user adoption and change management and incorporates strategic consulting, live awareness events, online content, awareness commercials, posters, emails, assessments and reference tools. McNair Law Firm will receive a steady dose of OnGuard security awareness tools that will be leveraged to create and sustain a heightened level of awareness and education around security risks and best practices.
Traveling Coaches was recently recognized by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) with the2013 Innovative Solution Provider of the Year award for extensive foresight and innovation with the OnGuard Security Awareness Program.
