LitWorks, a DTI Company, today scheduled its inaugural eDiscovery Specialist Boot Camp Training designed to expand attorneys’, paralegals’ and litigation support professionals’ depth and breadth of knowledge for managing electronically stored information (ESI) as it pertains to litigation. The course will be held in Atlanta at the DTI National Technology Center, June 16-20, 2014.
Members of the litigation community understand how much the ESI landscape has changed in recent years. A recent article published on the Wall Street Journal’s website states that corporations are now putting their outside law firms to the test by evaluating and challenging their attorneys’ use of technology. So far, no firm has passed. Many leading law firms and corporate legal departments are now requiring their paralegals and litigation support professionals to become subject-matter experts in managing ESI. By learning more about the ESI life cycle, how to control costs and how to minimize the risk of fines and sanctions, they can offer competitive advantages over firms that are less savvy.
