Traveling Coaches, the legal industry’s experts at gaining user adoption of technology, today announced that Seattle-based Perkins Coie selected Traveling Coaches’ OnGuard Security Awareness program to create lasting behavior change in how people use technology.
Launched in January of 2013, the OnGuard Security Awareness Program has gained rapid adoption by law firms looking to create a culture of security.
“While the right technology and processes are key to a good information security program, user awareness and education is one of the most critical components - the choices people make are often the difference between a security problem and a non-event,” said Gavin Gray, CIO at Perkins Coie. “The OnGuard program is critical to our success, as we rely on Traveling Coaches’ expertise in change management and content creation, we can focus our internal staff on other critical and time consuming aspects of our security program.”
OnGuard, designed by and for law firms, leverages Traveling Coaches’ expertise in law firm user adoption and change management and incorporates strategic consulting, live awareness events, online content, awareness commercials, posters, emails and reference tools. Perkins Coie will receive a steady dose of OnGuard security awareness tools that will be leveraged to create and sustain a heightened level of awareness and education around security risks and best practices.
Traveling Coaches was recently recognized by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) as winner of the2013 Innovative Solution Provider of the Year award for extensive foresight and innovation with the OnGuard Security Awareness Program.
“Perkins Coie has a comprehensive approach to cyber security that incorporates OnGuard to sustain behavior change”, remarked Gina Buser, CEO of Traveling Coaches. “We are excited to partner with them to create a Firm-wide culture of security.”
