Legatt to assist clients as they navigate through e-discovery and litigation challenges

Shepherd Data Services (Shepherd), a Minneapolis-based leader in full-service litigation support, including e-discovery and review technology, announced that it has promoted Ben Legatt to director of consulting services.

In this new role, Legatt will focus on consulting with current clients on how to leverage Shepherd’s services and resources to optimize the entire discovery process.

Shepherd’s core values are to be strategic and consultative with clients, and Legatt will be the lead consultant, who will enable them to complete projects in the best way possible. Legatt is a consultant with 14 years of extensive, hands‐on litigation and trial experience, including eight years as a paralegal at a large local law firm. Legatt is a certified TrialDirector® and Relativity® instructor, with expertise in AccessData and LexisNexis products: AD Summation®, Concordance®, CaseMap® and TimeMap®.

Legatt stated, “Over the years I have built strong relationships with clients and in this new role I will be able to work closer with them to make sure they are leveraging Shepherd’s services and staff in the best way possible. I’ll serve as an advocate for clients throughout the entire discovery process. I am going to offer proactive solutions that perhaps they haven’t thought of before, thus enabling them to get to the finish line faster, more efficiently and cost effectively.”
