Xact Data Discovery (XDD), a leading international provider of discovery and data management services for law firms, corporations and government agencies, announces the opening of its second dedicated review center, located in Detroit, Michigan.
The expansion supports XDD’s domestic document review and managed review businesses, which have seen explosive growth in the first quarter of 2014.
The new review center in Detroit is XDD’s first domestic dedicated review center. The company currently owns one offshore review center in Bangalore, India.
As part of its full suite of discovery services, XDD offers managed review solutions that are tailored to the unique needs of every case. Projects may be handled either domestically or offshore, and resources are allocated based on the qualifications required. All XDD review attorneys complete an extensive testing process to determine their level of expertise and value. Reviewers are graded and categorized by a tiered system so that clients only pay for the level demanded by each case.
“XDD clients appreciate the ability to customize the managed review service level needed for each unique project,” says Xact Data Discovery CEO Robert Polus. “While the data always remains within the United States, as part of this expansion we can now perform reviews both domestically and offshore, all handled by XDD employees,” he adds.
As a result of the continued growth of XDD’s review services business, the company is actively pursuing additional locations for dedicated review centers and expects at least one more will open in the second quarter of this year.
