Aderant, the world’s largest independent legal software company, announced that New York based law firm Rivkin Radler LLP has fully implemented and is successfully utilizing Aderant Expert as its financial, time, and practice management system. After reviewing various solutions available in the legal software industry, the firm based their purchase decision on several key factors, including Aderant’s reputation in the global legal market, product functionality, top of the line user support, and overall client service.
With new changes in the legal industry, Rivkin Radler required a system that would provide the features needed to keep up to date with the changing standards and rules as well as provide an easy-to-use interface. A previous Rainmaker user for almost 25 years, the law firm decided to stay within the Aderant product family, taking advantage of Aderant’s proven expertise in legal software and law firm management. In addition, the firm later added additional modules to its legal software suite, including Expert Imaging and Found Time.
“Candidly, we did not spend much time looking at other solutions,” shared Paul Czeladnicki, executive director for Rivkin Radler. “Our research, along with testimonials from other firms, revealed no advantage to leaving the Aderant product family.” He continued, “Our staff is especially thrilled about Expert Imaging. The ability to research a client bill, invoice, and other financial documents—they say they just cannot believe how fast and efficient it is. We no longer have to manually warehouse this information anymore because it is all stored electronically.”

During implementation and training, Rivkin Radler was able to take advantage of access to Aderant’s support team of system experts, as well as an on-site consultant for about 10 days to ensure all users were fully trained and comfortable with the new system. With Aderant support, the firm typically receives a response in less than an hour, and issues are resolved quickly and painlessly.
