Acrowire, a strategic business and legal technology consulting company, today announced that it has moved to new offices located in the PORTAL Building on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus.
The new space – which is almost double the square footage of the company’s previous location – provides Acrowire with a larger operating area and the ability to scale up in footage as necessary to support its expanding operations, employee base and client roster.
Effective immediately, Acrowire’s new address is:
PORTAL Building
9201 University City Blvd., Suite 332
Charlotte, NC 28223
“In one year, Acrowire has seen a 42 percent growth in revenue, a 30 percent increase in new clients and a 25 percent increase in employees,” stated Ted Theodoropoulos, president of Acrowire. “Working with Ventureprise and moving into this new office space gives Acrowire the supporting framework it needs to accommodate its vision, growth and innovation.”
The new office space is part of the 96,000-square-foot PORTAL Building run by Ventureprise. Ventureprise is a nonprofit organization that connects entrepreneurs, community resources, university researchers and funding partners to stimulate growth and innovation and promote investment in technology businesses. Each company applying for PORTAL Building space must undergo a stringent vetting process to ascertain if it aligns with the nonprofit’s vision, standards and requirements.
Acrowire was founded in 2008 by Theodoropoulos, who is a former Microsoft product specialist and senior vice president of Bank of America and a current Six Sigma Black Belt. The company helps businesses and legal organizations utilize technology to improve performance and profitability with a particular focus on SharePoint, cloud computing, custom application development and business process improvement consulting, services and solutions.
