Gavel & Gown Software Inc., the leading developer of desktop and cloud based practice management software for lawyers, announced today that both Amicus Attorney and Amicus Cloud have been named as winners in the 2014 National Law Journal’s Best of Chicago Reader Rankings survey in five categories.
The results of the survey are particularly insightful, as all of the respondents are practicing lawyers who rely on practice management software to run a successful business.
This designation affirms that Amicus Attorney is the go-to solution for legal practice management. Being selected as one of the best for Case Management, Matter Management, Practice Management in the Cloud, Docketing & Calendaring, and Time & Billing further positions Amicus Attorney as a market leader, consistently evolving to respond to the needs of its customers.
“To be ranked number one for our cloud practice management solution less than two years after its initial release is spectacular, a true testament to the product,” said Ron Collins, President and Founder of Gavel & Gown Software Inc. “We would like to thank the Chicago community for their ongoing support and commitment to Amicus products.”
Legal professionals in the Chicago area were asked by the National Law Journal to rank the top companies providing professional services and products used in their law practices. In the second run of this online survey, over 90 categories were listed and more than 1,200 participants were able to select from the provided list, or write in their leading candidates.
The complete list of winners is available in the August 25, 2014 special Best of Chicago supplement of the National Law Journal. The National Law Journal is a weekly publication serving the legal profession, combined with an audience of private practitioners, judges, corporate lawyers, government attorneys and other members of the legal community.
