eLaw, the leading Web-based platform that provides critical and up-to-date court-related case information, today announced a new bookmark feature available to eDocket paid subscribers.

For customers who routinely search for the same cases in eDocket, the bookmarking feature allows them to instantly search all of their cases – in minutes, rather than hours. eDocket customers no longer have to spend unbillable hours looking for index numbers before searching. The bookmark search field also allows users to locate a case by partial name or file/matter number.

Launched on January 1, the new eDocket bookmarking feature is already popular among early users. As cases are bookmarked, they are stored, allowing subscribers to quickly scroll through all of their cases using the “Bookmarks” link. eDocket subscribers will find that the new “Bookmarks” link automatically appears in their accounts when they log in to eLaw.

eLaw provides the local knowledge required by legal professionals to productively manage caseloads by searching and monitoring court dates and events. Subscribers have access to federal, state and select local and appellate courts in New York and New Jersey, including all 62 Supreme Court counties and five City Civil courts. eLaw provides filing alerts for New York and Kings County clerk minute books, and will notify subscribers when subpoenaed records have arrived at the courts. Other popular features include synchronization with case management software and calendar syncing to ensure court appearances are never missed.
