eDepoze, LLC, today announced the release of version 2.0 of the eDepoze litigation software platform, upgrading its leading deposition software with feature enhancements throughout the product and improved remote capabilities. With this release, eDepoze is making it easier than ever for attorneys to streamline the deposition process by eliminating paper exhibits and costly travel.
New streaming text and presentation features enable users to remotely review and share deposition materials and court reporter feeds in real-time during a deposition.
eDepoze has seen rapid adoption among law firms and in-house legal departments, providing customers with immediate time and cost savings by reducing deposition-related printing, shipping and travel expenses. The software includes full-feature Web and iPad apps to provide seamless access to attorneys and deposition participants on a variety of devices, any time, from anywhere. Version 2.0 includes the following updates, available through eDepoze’s cloud-based platform:
“Our firm has always been eager to bring in new technology innovations that can streamline our practice and save time and money,” said Karin A. Bentz Esq., owner and managing partner at The Law Offices of Karin A. Bentz, P.C. “eDepoze has made my life so much easier by eliminating the hassle of printing and shipping paper documents for witness preparation and deposition sessions. Our attorneys travel a lot from the firm’s Virgin Islands home office to depositions around the U.S., and with eDepoze we are reducing unnecessary travel and ultimately saving clients a lot of money.”
eDepoze’s deposition software system was created by litigator Shawn Kennedy to improve the paper deposition process by combining a secure, cloud-based database with an iPad or web-based interface. By securely uploading potential exhibits to eDepoze’s repository in advance of depositions, attorneys can fully bring their practice into the 21st Century, avoiding the hassle associated with printing and transporting paper exhibits and traveling to depositions. The software enables full control over the process, allowing users to securely share exhibits as they are marked and introduced, organize all exhibits, and annotate and retain personal copies of all depositions materials.
