DTI, a global legal process outsourcing (LPO) company providing eDiscovery, managed services and litigation support, announced today that Adam Bottner, attorney and director of business development at DTI, will speak on the topic of “Advances and Ethics in eDiscovery and Other Litigation Services” at a meeting of the Federal Civil Practice Committee of the Chicago Bar Association.
The meeting will take place March 3, 2015, at 12:15 p.m. at the Chicago Bar Association, 321 South Plymouth Court in Chicago.
“As the volume of data in litigation increases, using technology to search, cull and produce data has become standard. So it is critical for attorneys to understand their legal, regulatory and ethical obligations relative to identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, reviewing and producing data in discovery,” said Bottner. “Knowledge and planning are key to managing cost and reducing risk in litigation.”
Bar association members can find course details and register for the event on the Chicago Bar Association website calendar of events. The Federal Civil Practice Committee focuses on practical aspects of federal civil practice and improvement of civil litigation in the federal courts with jurisdiction over Chicago.
