Today at its 58th Annual Estate Planning Short Course, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) announced that its new Elder Law Forms Suite of intelligent documents, “Preparing for Disability,” will be powered by TheFormTool PRO.
This collection of forms ia the pilot package for a new product line of intelligent forms branded as “Formulaw™.” It combines the power of TheFormTool PRO software with the trusted practice guidance of select forms from the Institute’s elder law publications collection.
IICLE describes the the impact of Formulaw™ on Illinois attorneys’ document assembly methods as momentous. The easy-to-install TheFormTool PRO software plugs right into the user’s Microsoft Word for Windows toolbar. The unique combination of expert forms and 3rd generation document assembly technology reduces training time to nearly zero.
The “intelligent” aspect comes into play vis a vis a query table that appears at the end of the Formulaw™ document. By answering the questions posed to extract the needed information and clicking the “Fill” button, the user creates a document customized for the matter at hand. The software does all the work of adding or deleting text, inserting the proper names, contact information, figures; automatically adjusting subject-pronoun and singular-plural agreements, and even performing mathematical calculations.
