Today developer New Day at Work announced several integrations for law firms in their browser-based platform for work, Workspace 365. By integrating and simplifying services Workspace 365 wants to help lawyers to save time since they can access all their applications and information from a single starting point in their browser.
An example of the simplification is the deep integration with legal software Aderant Expert and Office 365 which gives both services a cleaner user interface and accessibility from any device with a browser.
In the Netherlands Workspace 365 is already being used by law firms. This gave the Workspace 365 team the drive to create integrated apps specifically for lawyers and their back-office. The legal workspace now makes it possible to create, edit and open documents, sheets, clients and more within seconds. Furthermore, lawyers will be able to link documents and emails to the legal apps; clients, time registrations, matters and work codes.
Erik Nicolai, Co-founder of Workspace 365, said, “It was exciting to see that entering a client could become easier than setting up a social media profile. Lawyers don’t even have to access Aderant anymore, by linking it to Workspace 365 they can enter new clients within seconds.”
The legal workspace uses flexible Business Apps which can be altered using a drag & drop builder. This allows law firms to set up their own CRM system and create their own legal workspace. Next to services from Workspace 365, it is also possible to access any existing service to allow lawyers to work from one central starting point in the browser.
Workspace 365 is being offered worldwide by IT service providers, allowing the Workspace 365 team to focus on developing new features and improvements. IT service providers can easily order Workspace 365 for their customers and get help setting up their first workspaces for law firms.
