Handshake Software Adds Four New Am Law 100 Firms for SharePoint-based Portals, Enterprise Search and Expertise Location

Handshake Software, Inc., the market leading, award-winning provider of SharePoint-based products and services to the legal market, today announced the addition of four Am Law 100 firms including Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; Troutman Sanders and Seyfarth Shaw for recent licensing of Handshake Software’s portal, enterprise search and expertise location solutions.

The latest new wins, over the last 30 days, reflect the continued surge in demand for Handshake Software’s SharePoint-based portal and enterprise search solutions by Am Law 100 firms as well as recently reported new Handshake Software wins among increasingly competitive mid-market players and leading Canadian firms.

In addition to licensing the Handshake/SharePoint Portal JumpStart products as well Search within SharePoint 2013, firms will be deploying Handshake’s Expertise Locator, an add-on application to the popular SP Bridge enterprise search framework.  Expertise Locator uniquely combines information from all the firm’s systems including documents, time entries, biographies, supervising lawyers and more to allow firms to understand who has the best experience related to a client’s requirements.

Pillsbury will utilize Handshake Software’s NetDocuments integration and Troutman Sanders is set to leverage the new Handshake Software/Neudesic Firm Directory integration for Portals, Search & Expertise Locator.
