Longtime Ties Between Litigation Support Firms Lead to Business Combination
eDiscovery provider, Advanced Discovery, announced today that it has acquired the eDiscovery Division of Pittsburgh, PA-based Ditto Document Services, Inc. Advanced Discovery’s acquisition will enhance Ditto’s ability to provide the full spectrum of eDiscovery services to their clients.
“We have partnered with Ditto on a number of projects over the years, and I have seen first-hand Ditto’s commitment to its employees and the clients it serves,“ said David Vandygriff, CEO of Advanced Discovery. “Ditto’s customer-driven focus mirrors our own, and we are pleased that our investment in Ditto will help the team deliver more depth and breadth to its discovery services.”
The Ditto acquisition is an example of Advanced Discovery’s selective multi-channel growth strategy, which continues to draw notice. For the fourth year in a row, Advanced Discovery landed on Inc. magazine’s 5000, an influential list tracking the fastest growing privately-owned businesses in the US.
As part of its latest growth efforts, Advanced Discovery is excited about Ditto’s eDiscovery opportunities in the Pittsburgh region. Ditto will now be able to leverage Advanced Discovery's national footprint and add such components as forensic data collections and managed attorney review to its current offerings that include consultation, eDiscovery processing, web-hosted document review and paper discovery.
“This is an unbelievable opportunity for Ditto. This partnership between Ditto and Advanced Discovery will enable the company that we started to reach its full potential, the benefits of which will be felt by our clients,” said Ditto President Steven Shriber, who founded the company with his brother, Ken Shriber, 20 years ago. “Our collaboration with Advanced Discovery has gone so well over the past year that this merger became the natural progression of business, and we are thrilled to offer the additional services Advanced Discovery will bring to our long-standing dedicated clients.”
