DTI, a global legal process outsourcing (LPO) company providing eDiscovery, managed services, litigation support and court reporting, announced its upcoming schedule of thought leadership and sponsorship in legal education events.

• Today’s General Counsel Institute (October 13-14 – Seattle, Washington) - This event provides attendees with a forum for sharing best practices and advice regarding eDiscovery challenges facing organizations today. Jason Smith, DTI Legal Solutions director of business development, will moderate a session on cost control. Topics discussed include budgeting, workflows, metrics and project management.
• Electronic Discovery Institute – 5th Annual EDI Leadership Summit (October 14-16 – New Orleans, Louisiana) - The EDI Leadership Summit brings together a delegation of high-level decision-makers from legal, technology and information governance groups. Attendees will gain new perspectives on discovery, litigation management, information management and other current legal technology issues. Don McLaughlin, senior vice president of DTI Knowledge Solutions, will join a panel of experts for a discussion on “From Black Box to GPS: Employee Monitoring in the Age of Big Data.” This panel will discuss how new technologies are affecting employee privacy rights and what employers can do to prevent potential issues.
• 2015 Claims Litigation Management Cyber Liability Summit (October 21, 2015 – New York, New York) - The Cyber Liability Summit will provide attendees with an understanding of data and network security, privacy and social media and the types of cases that result from these areas. Pertinent risks, exposures and claim activity and trends will be discussed during this summit.
• 14th Annual Law Firm COO & CFO Forum: Navigating in Uncharted Waters: Managing for Success in a Segmenting & Consolidating Market (October 29-30, 2015 – New York, New York) - This year’s program will explore the ongoing segmentation of the legal industry and law firms’ strategic approaches for growth. The forum will offer insights into the strategic evolution and managerial growth across a segmenting legal profession. Terence Herlihy, DTI solutions architect, will facilitate the session on “Enhancing Project Management Capabilities at the Partner Level.” This session will offer insight into selling project management more effectively inside the firm and discuss the tools required to create more efficiencies with the legal staff.
• 3rd Annual Midwest Legal Executive Forum (November 11, 2015 – Chicago, Illinois) - Julie Koch, national account manager with DTI Management Services, is moderating a session entitled “Managing 360º: Collaboration, Innovation & the Evolving Role of Law Firm Business Professionals.” Topics include building a culture of innovation and collaboration within the firm and the evolving role of law firm business professionals.
