Levit & James, Inc. announces that its Best Authority software is the #1 “Tables of Authority Software to DC Law Firms” on the 2015 Best of Legal Times reader rankings list. This is the second year in a row that Best Authority has achieved this ranking. The results were tabulated by the National Law Journal.
“We are honored to win this award again because it proves the continued popularity of Best Authority among law firms,” said Ian Levit, Vice-President of Marketing and Sales for Levit & James. “Best Authority continues to dominate the legal market, and we appreciate Legal Times readers voting for us as their top choice for Tables of Authorities software.”
Best Authority customers range from sole practitioners to the largest firms, as well as numerous government agencies and nonprofits. Required for many pleadings, Tables of Authorities are often high-pressure last-minute tasks to complete before filing deadlines. Best Authority scans through a document in seconds, finds the citations to legal authorities, and generates a highly accurate TOA in minutes.
Best Authority is available in Light and Premium editions. Levit & James recently released Best Authority Version 4, which includes support for both Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2016, as well as 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Office.
Compiled annually by The National Law Journal, the Best of Legal Times reader rankings list shows which vendors and law schools are most highly esteemed by the Washington, D.C. legal community. Over 2000 Legal Times readers voted this year, a combination of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and law students. All votes were reviewed and qualified to ensure they were cast by legitimate end-users from the Washington, D.C. area legal community. Any votes cast outside of this qualified universe of potential voters were not counted in the final results.
