Refresh enables firm to reduce electronic workspace clutter, enhance IG, and double system adoption
Prosperoware, a leading enterprise software company delivering innovative technology that connects the business with the practice of legal and professional services, today announces a matter centric refresh success for AmLaw 100 firm, Drinker Biddle & Reath, achieved through the implementation of three Milan products.
The MCC refresh resulted in doubling system adoption, enhancing the firm’s information governance, and reducing workspace clutter by 95%.
As detailed in the recent blogpost of Dan Carmel, CMO of iManage, Drinker Biddle & Reath initially implemented iManage in a matter-centric configuration in 2008; however, over the ensuing years, “the firm found it challenging to keep up with the latest versions or update how the system worked to keep pace with the changes in how its attorneys wanted to work.”
Through Prosperoware’s partnership with eSentio Technologies, a matter-centric refresh project was designed to both address user frustrations and enhance information governance at the firm, while taking full advantage of the software the firm already owned. The addition of Prosperoware Milan helped address some of the core issues. “One major area of focus was the matter file templates the firm used. Overly complex matter files resulted in over 81 million empty folders that made browsing the matter file a time-consuming endeavor,” adds Carmel.
The Milan platform was selected as the technology backbone of the project to deliver specific capabilities and replace another vendor’s legacy product. The key modules selected include:
The Drinker Biddle & Reath project marks yet another in a number of recent matter centric refreshes both enabled and made successful by Prosperoware Milan and resulted in doubling system adoption, enhancing the firm’s information governance, and reducing workspace clutter by 95%. Dan McLoughlin, CIO of Drinker Biddle & Reath stated, “Our selection of Prosperoware Milan to enhance our user experience and administration of iManage was critical to the success of our project.”
Prosperoware’s Milan platform is designed specifically to provide a range of add-ons to increase the adoption and improve administration of an organization’s investment in iManage. Milan makes it easier and simpler for users to manage their workspaces, documents, and email while significantly reducing the burden on IT to support users’ daily workflow.
Keith Lipman, President of Prosperoware, comments, “We’re pleased with the impressive success achieved at Drinker Biddle & Reath and to have enabled the firm to take full advantage of the software they already owned. We thank iManage for promoting this case study highlighting the remarkable success achieved as a result of the Milan products implementation.”
