Legal Industry Expert Bill Lipner Joins DocSolid as Consultant

DocSolid, a leader in enterprise document scanning solutions for the legal market, today announces that legal industry expert Bill Lipner has joined the company as a consultant.

Bill is highly regarded in content lifecycle solutions and will be instrumental to the continued success of DocSolid’s consultancy as the company leads the Paper2Digital™ transformation in the legal industry.

DocSolid saw a 70% increase in sales in 2015, indicative of the increasing movement in the legal market towards a Paper2Digital transformation.  A fully digital matter file is pivotal to meeting the industry-wide mandate to reduce the cost and risk of paper records, while driving vital efficiencies and integrity into the matter management process. DocSolid’s KwikTag® Legal, an integrated scanning platform which embeds capture within law firms’ existing document management software, is vital to the Paper2Digital transformation law firms seek. DocSolid’s engagements with law firms employ its Scanbition Consulting to build and execute custom projects.

Bill is an experienced information management strategist focusing on content lifecycle solutions in law firms, giving him a deep and wide-ranging understanding of how technology and the law intersect. In 2004, he was named Rookie of the Year for his work at LexisNexis Applied Discovery; in 2006, Lipner founded his own consulting practice, Discovery Partners, Inc., where he consulted on pdfDocs best practices, training, and selling the Docs Corp portfolio of PDF solutions. Bill is also well-known as the editor of the PinHawk Legal Administrator Daily, a newsletter which circulates to approximately 4,800 law firm business services managers daily.

Bill will be supporting client success through DocSolid’s Scanbition Consulting, the company’s firm-specific approach to the Paper2Digital transformation, which defines business objectives and milestones, pilots, policies and workflow. Within Scanbition Consulting, each firm’s unique culture and priorities are accommodated, as are the preferences of attorneys who still like to work with paper, and those who don’t.
