Celia Marius has been hired as LDM Global’s newest eDisclosure project manager. LDM Global is a leading consultant to mid-tier law firms around the world, focusing on legal discovery management and computer forensics.
Marius has more than 15 years’ experience in project management and litigation support. She has worked for highly renowned law firms and eDisclosure providers, and is certified in a number of top tools, including Relativity and Viewpoint.
“My experience working in law firms has given me a thorough understanding of litigation proceedings, case law and reading case documents,” Marius said. “That adds value for our law firm clients when I am consulting with them to discuss the best strategy and workflows for their particular case needs. After helping to devise a strategy for the eDisclosure portion of the case, I set up the database to help them get an early look at their data and what may be relevant.”
LDM Global is increasing its emphasis on consultancy and liaising with clients earlier in their cases, which has proven popular in terms of case strategy and predictable budgeting.
“Price predictability is very important to clients, and via liaising early, we are able to predict costs more closely to the actual invoice or even offer all-in-pricing options,” said Director of Professional Services Jennifer Holt. “But even more important than predictability and proportionality, is that by being involved early, we offer insight into what tools and processes would work well for a case, providing the opportunity to create efficiency and be set up for success from the get-go.”
