DTI, a global legal process outsourcing (LPO) company providing eDiscovery, management services, litigation support and court reporting, announced today that John Collins, a widely-noted Information Governance and eDiscovery expert will be conducting a series of briefings on the challenges and opportunities for IG and eDiscovery within Microsoft’s Office 365 cloud-based email and collaboration solution.

These briefings will take place in Southern California; Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; and Phoenix, Arizona between February 9th and March 9th.

Office 365 is a prevalent and critical source of electronically stored information (ESI) often sought in eDiscovery because many organizations are moving their email, instant messaging, and file storage to cloud-based programs and away from internally operated servers.

The briefings will provide an attendee with:

• A clear explanation of what Office 365 is and how it works;
• The types of ESI and information contained in Office 365;
• Key IG and eDiscovery challenges presented by Office 365; and
• The built-in features and capabilities for IG and eDiscovery in Office 365, including in-place eDiscovery, legal hold, data loss prevention, and email management.
