ILTA-sponsored road show will hit 13 major cities coast-to-coast in 2016

DocSolid, a leader in enterprise document scanning solutions for the legal market, announces the kick off its ILTA-sponsored Roadshow, “How to Remove Half of the Paper in a Law Firm,” this Thursday, February 25th at the University of Missouri School of Law in Kansas City.  

Steve Irons, President of DocSolid, will lead the Roadshow sessions, analyzing the cost and risk caused by excess paper records and how the application of new, patent-pending technology can solve the problem without disrupting attorney workflow.

According to a DocSolid survey of leading legal information governance professionals, 57% of the paper in law firm files is duplicate prints from the DMS--and this paper footprint grows by another 39% from duplicate prints scattered around the firm. This compromises efficiency, information governance and security.  The related costs in real estate and labor are enormous.

The ILTA sponsored roadshow, led by DocSolid President, Steve Irons, will illustrate for attendees how their firms can stop the de facto cycle of printing and re-filing —and reduce the paper in their firms by 50%.  To that end, Irons shares the results of the DocSolid survey conducted with a select group of leading legal information governance professionals as well as concrete tactics to solve the problem; specifically, the discussion will include:

1. Quantification of the print/copy accumulation of paper in law firms
2. Analysis and breakdown of the excess caused by paper records duplication, including  associated risk, on and offsite storage, and labor
3. Demonstration of how new technology can:
• Solve this problem
• Provide a clear ROI
• Optimize your firm’s existing Document Management System as the official electronic matter file
