Orion Law Management Systems, Inc., a leading provider of financial and practice management software for law firms, announces iOrion Version 3.0, an enhanced and fully integrated Apple iOS and Google Android compatible mobile app.

Building on the success of previous versions of iOrion, the updated app includes new features, platform compatibility and app integration. This version will be made available to existing iOrion subscribers at no additional cost, just in time for ABA TECHSHOW® in Chicago today.

iOrion Version 3.0 is a complete financial and practice management mobile application that allows legal professionals to access data from Orion using any recent-model iOS or Android device. This is the first release of iOrion that provides Android platform compatibility. The app is fully integrated with Orion desktop software, which means subscribers can sync workflow from desktop to hand-held devices in real-time, without any delay or data discrepancies. iOrion continues to provide a top-notch user experience, blending trusted reliability with rich technology and functionality to create an innovative and intuitive multi-platform application.

iOrion Version 3.0 Features Include: 

• iOrion for Android – Use of iOrion on any Android Device (requires Android 4.2 or higher)
• Customization for iOS9 – Support for Apple’s most recent operating platform
• Performance Improvements – Greater app stability and ease in the development process
• Dashboards – iOrion can now display personal productivity visually through dashboards
• Enhanced Security – iOrion is compatible with Apple’s Touch ID technology

Additional updates were put in place to improve time management capabilities in iOrion. Subscribers will now experience added control over the display of dollar amounts in Fee Entry and Time Manager, management of time zones in Smart Timers and user-based nicknames added to Smart Timers/Matter list views. These enhancements allow greater customization, efficiency and overall ease of use for iOrion subscribers.

The process of submitting expense reimbursement requests also received an upgrade. iOrion allows attorneys or their legal assistants to conveniently attach receipts to each reimbursement request. Now, iOrion has implemented DropboxTM support. This allows copies of receipts to be added directly from Dropbox, making the reimbursement process easier than ever before.
