Deal expands TCDI’s service offerings and expertise
TCDI, a leader in litigation technology and services for mass tort management, second requests, complex litigation and MDL case management, announced the acquisition earlier this month of Cleveland, Ohio-based JURINNOV Ltd., which will continue its operation as JURINNOV, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of TCDI.
Founded in 2000, JURINNOV Ltd. provides the legal and business communities with innovative solutions to address their eDiscovery and data security needs. The acquisition allows TCDI to extend its geographic reach as well as expand its service offerings to include computer forensics, on-site data collections, cybersecurity and data privacy, among other things.
Bill Johnson, president and CEO of TCDI, says, “Here at TCDI, protecting our clients’ data has always been a top priority. While security is a cornerstone of our software, this acquisition gives us the opportunity to provide cybersecurity solutions as a stand-alone service.” He continues, “This is just one example of the many possibilities the synergy provides.”
Timothy Opsitnick, founder of JURINNOV Ltd., says, “This welcomed acquisition is a classic ‘win-win.’ The complement of our core competencies was such a great fit that it was too good an opportunity to pass up.” He adds, “We are excited about the recent launch of TCDI’s CVFox hosted processing and review tool. CVFox offers small and medium-size law firms and corporations, and our core clients, affordable access to advanced tools and technology.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
