LDM Global Staff Members Earn CEDS Certification
USA/Canada News

LDM Global logoAlex Clarke and Allison Miriani of LDM Global have joined a select group of eDiscovery professionals who have obtained the Certified E-Discovery Specialist certification. Administered by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists, the CEDS credential is earned by passing a rigorous four-hour examination that provides an objective measure of an individual’s mastery of eDiscovery.

In addition, the CEDS certification requires certain fundamentals to be met, based on education, training and work in the eDiscovery field.

The credential is an assurance to employers, colleagues and clients that the CEDS-certified professional is serious about efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk reduction in all phases of eDiscovery.

Clarke, who has been with LDM Global for two years and worked in both the sales and professional services departments, currently serves as a solutions consultant. In this role, he works directly with clients on their eDiscovery and forensic matters, consulting on best practices and ensuring streamlined communication during all phases of a project. Clarke holds certifications in the eDiscovery software Viewpoint as a Processing Administrator, Review & Analytics Administrator and Sales Pro.

“Because I’m relatively new to the eDiscovery industry, I thought it was important to give our clients assurance that my knowledge of eDiscovery is strong and has actually been tested,” Clarke said. “LDM Global stands apart from other eDiscovery providers with its focus on offering consultation throughout the discovery phase in order to positively impact our clients’ outcome on each case.”

Miriani serves as the marketing coordinator for LDM Global and has been with the company for two years. She is responsible for the content and branding of LDM Global. Miriani speaks to clients to understand their pain points and objectives as well as the value they have received from LDM Global. She then uses that information for case studies and articles to educate others in the legal industry.

“Preparing for the CEDS exam while simultaneously interviewing LDM Global’s experts and clients enabled a rapid expansion in my knowledge of eDiscovery in a very short time frame,” Miriani said. “This knowledge enables me to better understand our clients’ needs and pain points associated with discovery, as LDM strives to provide relevant education and thought leadership in this ever changing industry.”

In addition to Clarke and Miriani, LDM Global’s Vice President of Technology and Data Security Paul L. Renehan Jr., Director of Process Improvement Jennifer Holt and Sales Consultant Sarah Nunham also hold the CEDS certification.
