kCura at ILTACON: Data Visualization and Analytics

kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, will share how Relativity 9.4, the latest release of their platform, allows customers to take better advantage of analytics and data visualization for internal investigations, early case assessment (ECA), and litigation at ILTACON 2016 in National Harbor, Maryland from August 28 to September 1.

“ILTACON is always a great event for us to connect with our customers, our partners, and others throughout the legal community,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “More and more of our users are asking for a single solution that helps them search large sets of data, analyze the results, and take action in an easier and more powerful way. With enhanced UI and visualization capabilities in our newest release, we’re excited to show ILTACON attendees how we’re making this possible throughout the entire e-discovery lifecycle.” 

Released in early July, Relativity 9.4 provides a single solution for the e-discovery lifecycle. It comes with a total of 170 new features, including ECA and Investigation, a comprehensive solution with powerful analytics and data visualizations built in that is designed to help legal and investigative teams quickly assess risk and make informed decisions at the earliest stages of a case or investigation.

Attendees can visit booth 400 to see the new capabilities themselves and learn how the platform also powers practices outside of standard litigation. For example, DLA Piper built 50 custom applications to serve a range of practice management needs, like mass tort project tracking.

kCura experts will also speak on two panels at ILTACON 2016:

• Preparing an ROI for e-Discovery Services: A Litigation Technology Operations Workshop - In collaboration with other industry experts, kCura enterprise team lead Bret Libigs will lead a workshop highlighting different approaches to e-discovery projects and expose clues to reaching your firm’s ROI goals. Panelists include David Hasman, litigation support manager at Bricker & Eckler; Sheila Mackay, vice president of consulting at Xerox Legal Business Services; and Mary Pat Poteet, managing director at Poteet Consulting.
• The Law and Business of Social, Mobile, and Emerging Technologies - David Horrigan, e-discovery counsel and legal content director at kCura, will moderate a panel of attorneys and technologists as they discuss how mobile, social, and emerging technologies are affecting legal professions. Panelists include Ari Kaplan, founder of Ari Kaplan Advisors; Ed McAndrew, partner at Ballard Spahr; and Judge Andrew Peck, U.S. magistrate judge for the Southern District of New York.
