DocsCorp just announced that Dirkzwager, a top 20 Dutch legal services provider, has replaced Workshare’s PDF, metadata cleaning and document comparison solutions with DocsCorp’s pdfDocs, cleanDocs and compareDocs respectively.
The deal follows closely on the heels of other significant Workshare swap outs in the BeNeLux region for DocsCorp, including prominent firms Stibbe and Lexence. Deployment has recently been completed and the sale of all three products was finalized earlier this year.
Metadata cleaning tool cleanDocs and PDF application pdfDocs will be deployed enterprise-wide and available to all users at Dirkzwager. Additionally, compareDocs will be used for document comparison workflows firm-wide.
Dirkzwager’s decision to switch to DocsCorp followed extensive product testing from the firm’s IT Department and selected users at the firm. DocsCorp was chosen because of its out-of-the-box integration with the firm’s existing document management system (DMS). Also, pdfDocs, unlike other PDF applications, creates regulation PDF/A files which some Dutch court districts now require as part of the electronic submission process.
