Workshare, the high stakes document company announced today the first in a series of educational training sessions that will be held across Europe in conjunction with their partner, iManage.
The first event has been organized with the support of a long-term partner in the region, Lexsoft, who are a Business Processes and IT Solutions leader for the Legal Sector in Spain. It is taking place in Madrid, in the headquarters of one of the largest business law firms worldwide, Garrigues.
Legal Risk and Chief Security Officers from the top 20 law firms in Spain will have an opportunity to review and discuss thought leadership on Risk & Compliance best practices with Workshare and iManage, to find out more about clients’ confidentiality requirements while handling sensitive documents.

The introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018, will raise the stakes higher for data security, with potential fines for those who share personal data pertaining to EU citizens without their permission. This first intensive session will provide scalable “Need to Know” security, designed specifically for the legal sector, to prevent misdirected communications and assist in compliance with outside counsel guidelines.
