DocsCorp, a leading provider of document productivity tools, today announced that leading independent Dutch law firm, Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn has replaced Workshare and other software providers with DocsCorp products.
After extensive testing and market research, Pels Rijcken will deploy the complete DocsCorp desktop productivity suite to all lawyers and assistants at the full-service firm.
Pels Rijcken specializes in litigation and represents the Dutch Government, Dutch Central Bank and other regulators and public authorities. As such, protecting sensitive information is crucial to preserving their client relationships. Pels Rijcken purchased pdfDocs from DocsCorp to ensure failsafe redaction. The in-text redaction tool allows them to fully redact sections of a document so that they cannot be uncovered. cleanDocs is implemented at the desktop level to ensure that no potentially damaging metadata is leaked through external communications like emails.
pdfDocs enables the firm to meet the new PDF/A compliance requirements for filing in the Dutch courts. Pels Rijckens can submit documents as evidence, trusting they are valid PDF/A files. It also gives them the ability to validate documents they receive from third parties as PDF/A compliant before submitting to the court.
compareDocs is used by the firm to catch all changes between contracts, briefs, and other important case files. It was chosen for its ease of use, accuracy, and ability to compare multiple file formats.
When it came time to choose a new document productivity suite Head of IT, Evert Verheul, looked for solutions that would be able to integrate with their document management system (DMS).
