New release adds precise automated filtering to the document aging process
WorkSpace Manager 1.9.18 continues to provide exceptional control over the iManage WorkSite environment as part of DocAuto's comprehensive suite of products. As part of WorkSpace Manager's already established “aging” processes, WorkSpace Manager now has the added the ability to apply version-by-version filtering when moving documents between WorkSite servers and databases.
The filtering of content to be copied or deleted can now be performed dynamically; version-by-version, using any ranges of values, patterns of values, or combined cross-referenced metadata values from an external system and the individual versions. WorkSpace Manager 1.9.18 also includes several pre-set configurations for common archiving and content migration scenarios, including automatic preservation of last version, inclusionary or exclusionary “mismatched” content processing, and much more.
These capabilities are also available within the “provisioning” processing of WorkSpace Manager, which can move specific documents between folders, workspaces, databases, or servers. Note that these features can automatically leave shortcuts or cross-database “artifacts” behind to facilitate user interaction with migrated content. The aging and provisioning features of WorkSpace Manager can also perform dynamic translation of any security and metadata information to allow for bi-directional real-time migration of content between different WorkSite systems.
