First of its kind knowledge repository for legal industry
Neudesic, creator of The Firm Directory, a profile-based experience discovery system powered by the Pulse enterprise collaboration platform, today announced the launch of The Research Directory, a new solution for profiling a firm’s collective knowledge, experience and relationships within a law firm or corporate legal department.
The Research Directory expands The Firm Directory’s people-centric directories to now allow firms to profile anything that is important such as clients, matters and alumni.
“We built The Research Directory based on 18 months of industry feedback. Firms are seeking a knowledge repository with powerful profiling capabilities,” said Jason Noble, Neudesic’s vice president of solutions. “We’re answering the need by combining robust profiles with a firm’s existing data to create a customized directory that serves as a single source of searchable knowledge.”
The Research Directory gives legal organizations a new way to search and share knowledge with custom directories that can be easily configured and integrated with various line of business systems like SharePoint. Legal firms receive a more thorough, nuanced understanding of the most important aspects of their business such as cases, matters, practices, clients, alumni, resources and more.
Firms can better track alumni relationships to boost recruitment, referrals and revenue. Users can also create comprehensive profiles of key matters, uncovering critical insights such as specific relationships and experience that can help create more impactful sales presentations. Firms also gain a contextual view of key clients, helping increase cross-selling based on deeper understanding of client needs.
The Research Directory is available now. It deploys on-premise, enabling firms to integrate with back-end systems of record and maintain full control over the system’s data
