Transatlantic law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has today announced the adoption of Tiger Eye’s Send and Sign: the DocuSign integration for iManage.
With users able to seamlessly switch between DocuSign and iManage, the integration enables staff to send documents for signature with a simple right click from within iManage with signed documents automatically stored as new versions of original content.
Supporting paperless working, the selection features as part of the firm’s wider strategy to increase sustainability, with the firm having recently announced its commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
Thomas Humberstone, IT Applications and Development Manager at WBD commented: “We recognised the potential for e-signature platforms to transform the way in which legal documents are executed well before the pandemic, becoming an early adopter and pioneer in the sector. It soon became clear, however that working with DocuSign and iManage as separate platforms was unnecessarily complex for our users, with a workflow that proved to be inefficient and time-consuming. We trialled Tiger Eye’s Send and Sign earlier in the spring and found that the powerful integration offered significant time savings, automating the filing of signed contracts into iManage and mitigating the risk of signed contracts being siloed to DocuSign.”
After successful testing with a pilot group, Send and Sign is due to be rolled out firmwide to all of Womble Bond Dickinson’s iManage users next month (November).
Dave Wilson, Managing Director of Tiger Eye, added: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Womble Bond Dickinson on the adoption of Send and Sign. We are delighted that the integration is supporting firms to streamline processes in the hybrid working environment.”
