Traveling Coaches, the internationally recognized training, application configuration and user adoption consulting partner to law firms and corporate legal departments, announced Seattle-based Perkins Coie LLP purchased a combination of consulting and training services as well as the popular Office 2010 User Adoption Materials to ensure rapid and complete user adoption of Office 2010 and Windows 7.
Perkins Coie also purchased Traveling Coaches’ CLASS™ instructor-led training materials and CLASSe™ eLearning briefs to support the Firm’s deployment of Microsoft Office 2010.
Based on Traveling Coaches’ renowned best practices for user adoption of complex technology, the Office 2010 User Adoption Materials are a collection of communications, marketing, pre-learning, classroom and floor support tools which are legal-specific and delivered in soft copy for easy customization by law firms. A project team composed of Traveling Coaches and Perkins Coie staff customized the materials and communication pieces to fit the specifics of the project, saving the Firm countless hours and dollars associated with developing these tools from scratch.
CLASS currently consists of 205 classroom modules and CLASSe includes over 2,100 eLearning lessons, both products covering topics from Microsoft Office applications to document management systems and Word productivity tools. The materials are customizable and designed to be used for university-style training programs. CLASSe Briefs are drawn from CLASS curriculum and offer the same high-level quality and consistency. By purchasing both products, Perkins Coie will be able to provide end-users with a consistent training message through the instructor, reference materials and eLearning lessons.
"We anticipate a smooth and successful rollout of Windows 7 and Office 2010 to all Perkins Coie employees thanks to the high caliber of expertise and professionalism of the trainers at Traveling Coaches. The CLASS and CLASSe learning systems have been invaluable in training our service desk staff, who will be the firm's first line of defense in a smooth transition to this new platform," said Gavin Gray, Perkins Coie Chief Information Officer. "Brian Howe, the Project Manager for our rollout, agrees that Traveling Coaches' service is second to none and there is no other company out there who could integrate such a high level of change in as large an organization as ours so quickly and smoothly."
“We have been fortunate to work with Perkins Coie to ensure maximum user adoption by helping to manage change, build awareness and create buy-in through effective communication plans, materials and consulting services,” added Gina Buser, Chief Executive Officer for Traveling Coaches. “We thoroughly enjoy working with their team.”
