kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Miller Canfield has licensed Relativity to support their e-discovery and records management team. As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity allows users to create and automate custom workflows, make use of a complete set of text analytics capabilities including computer-assisted review, and build custom applications within the software to manage and search all types of case-related data and information.
“We are excited to offer clients this web-based e-discovery platform that allows us to take a tailored approach for each unique client matter,” said Marci Stewart, e-discovery and records management attorney at Miller Canfield. “Whether a matter involves 200 documents or 2 million documents, we can handle it in-house, quickly and cost-effectively for the client.”
Miller Canfield’s e-discovery team includes more than 20 professionals and serves as discovery counsel for the firm’s diverse client base. Within Relativity, the team can also offer clients custom, on-demand extranet functionality by building applications to manage data, task lists, pleadings correspondence, and calendars.
“We’re pleased to see Miller Canfield taking full advantage of Relativity as a platform,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “We look forward to working with their team to deliver a customized Relativity experience for their clients.”
