LexisNexis Red has been named Australia's best mobile productivity app in the 2013 Australian Mobile Awards. Facing fierce competition, the app was recognised for its range of support services as part of a bundle solution called “Mobile Lawyer,” and close client engagement during the development process.
The world’s first referencing solution designed specifically to meet the unique needs of the legal profession, LexisNexis Red provides access to specialised, updated legal publications on iPads, tablets and laptops so lawyers can easily carry and reference the latest legal information on the go.
Developed by the Australian and New Zealand team, LexisNexis Red was designed in partnership with local clients and has proven so successful in the office and the courtroom, it is being rolled out globally. They key to the app’s success is its mobility, intuitive design and ease of use in high pressure situations.
“I am naturally delighted that the hard work by the team and great collaboration with our customers in developing the legal industry’s first referencing tool was recognised by the panel of distinguished judges and digital industry peers for making a difference in the way legal professional work, said Frank McKenna, head of product & technology strategy at LexisNexis Pacific.
“There have been an extraordinary range of winners who have really pushed the boundaries resulting in fresh and innovative outcomes,” said Mark Bergin Awards Director, Australian Mobile Awards. “The creators have been bold, as have those that have commissioned them; each wanting the best possible design outcome and it is pleasing that is what they have achieved.”
The winners and Best of Awards were based on over 8,000 ratings from the marketplace, industry and judging panel.
