Mishcon de Reya, a leading law firm renowned for its innovative practice, has announced a strategic partnership with Legora (formerly Leya), a cutting-edge provider of generative AI solutions for the legal sector. This collaboration, facilitated by MDR Lab, will explore the integration of Legora's AI capabilities into Mishcon’s workflows, driving significant improvements in efficiency, client service and firm-wide AI adoption.
This pilot program will allow Mishcon de Reya to evaluate and take advantage of best-in-class AI tools, empowering its legal professionals to explore and deploy AI in more impactful ways. By combining usage of Mishcon's proprietary deReyAI system with Legora's advanced platform, Mishcon de Reya is accelerating its AI integration and ensuring access to the most effective tools that are tailor-made for specific needs.

The pilot program will focus on integrating Legora's AI solutions into Mishcon's daily operations with clearly defined objectives and measurable outcomes, including:
The pilot will be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 will concentrate on optimisation of existing workflows, while Phase 2 will delve into new opportunities, for example litigation-specific workflows. Crucially, the program will rigorously measure the impact of AI implementation, tracking efficiency and efficacy gains and operational enhancements to inform Mishcon's long-term AI strategy.
Legora's team is currently embedded in a dedicated workspace at Mishcon's offices, collaborating closely with legal professionals, including fee earners and business operations teams, to help streamline the AI integration. Participation from diverse practice areas such as Real Estate, Corporate, Innovation, and Private Departments is intended to ensure broad and meaningful engagement across the firm.
