D4, LLC, a leader in eDiscovery managed services, information governance, computer forensics and deposition solutions, announced today the expansion of their global services offering with the opening of locations in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China.
“We are driven by client demand. Our growing corporate and law firm customer base wanted D4’s unique range and quality of services available in the countries where they do business,” said John Holland, D4’s Founder and CEO. “It is critical to have a global reach to handle data issues as they arise in litigation, global investigations and regulatory matters. eDiscovery is no longer confined within the borders of the United States.”
“It is an exciting time for our company and we look forward to meeting our clients’ needs and ongoing demand for global coverage.”
The expansion further solidifies D4’s commitment to providing truly global services to its growing list of customers. Specifically, D4’s ability to host client data on servers located in the Republic of China assists clients in dealing with tightened data protection laws. The Shanghai data center allows D4 to meet the requirements of both clients and the host country. D4 will have full service eDiscovery, collection, forensics and hosting services in the Asia Pacific region. These offerings include kCura’s Relativity® — a best-in-class eDiscovery review platform — which also features Relativity Analytics and Relativity Assisted Review. Relativity® is available for individual matters and through D4’s Managed Data and Discovery service.
“D4 has plans to continue its international expansion during 2016 and beyond”, said John Rubens, Chief Operating Officer of D4. “It is an exciting time for our company and we look forward to meeting our clients’ needs and ongoing demand for global coverage.”
