Top Norwegian firm chooses the DocsCorp productivity suite to improve business-critical workflows

DocsCorp, a leading provider of enterprise productivity solutions, today announced that Føyen Torkildsen AS, a leading Norwegian firm within the specialist fields of Real Estate, Technology, Media and Telecom, and Employment, has selected the DocsCorp productivity suite to help their lawyers be more efficient when working with their documents on a daily basis.

The suite includes cleanDocs for metadata management, compareDocs for document comparison, and pdfDocs for PDF file editing and bundling. 

While the firm was evaluating a new document management system (DMS), it realised an opportunity to review its document productivity tools at the same time. Standard applications such as Microsoft Word's document comparison feature and Document Inspector didn't have the specialist functionality staff needed.  

Staff are now able to manage document metadata, see the difference between document versions, and create, edit and bundle PDF documents with more accuracy and reliability. All this is made possible from the seamless, one-click workflows within the firm’s iManage DMS. 

Føyen was advised by PSA Consulting, which was assisting the firm in its transition to iManage. “When we began assessing products, we were encouraged by the fact that so many other firms have recently adopted the DocsCorp suite” explained Sabine Hovland, Head of IT&KM, Føyen Torkildsen AS. “The fact that the DocsCorp solutions will make the user experience that much easier and more efficient was an added benefit. Choosing a product suite and streamlining the number of technology vendors the firm deals with will simplify invoicing, product training, and support.”
